$1.5 Million Class Action Lawsuit Settlement by Florida East Coast Industries
Florida East Coast Industries Inc. announced that it will pay $1.5 million for a consolidated class action lawsuit settlement which is subject to court approval.
The class action related to the proposed merger with an affiliate of fund manager Fortress Investment Group LLC.
The settlement of the class action will not affect the amount of the special dividend or the merger consideration to be paid in the merger, the company said in a filing with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
