A class action lawsuit was filed against The Children’s Place by Gene Stonebarger of Lindsay & Stonebarger Law Firm, on behalf of their client for violating the Song-Beverly Credit Card Act of 1971 that states a retailer cannot request and record personal identification information from customers who use credit cards.

$2.65 Billion AOL Class-Action Settlement Approved

US District Judge Shirley Wohl Kram has approved a $2.65 billion class-action settlement which resulted from lawsuits brought by shareholders who complained that AOL improperly accounted for dozens of advertising transactions, inflating revenue for 15 quarters between 1998 and 2002, against AOL and Time Warner.

$10.6 Million Class Action Settlement by Quovadx, Inc.
