Amgen, Inc. in Securities Class Action Lawsuit
A class action lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California on behalf of persons who purchased or otherwise acquired publicly traded securities of Amgen, Inc. during the period between May 4, 2005 and March 9, 2007.
The Complaint alleges violation of the federal securities laws by issuing materially false and misleading statements contained in press releases and filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission during the Class Period.
If you purchased Amgen securities during the Class Period, you may, no later than June 18, 2007, move to be appointed as a Lead Plaintiff in this class action. A Lead Plaintiff is a representative, chosen by the Court, that acts on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation.

I purchased AMGEN stock in 2006, which I still am holding. In early 2007, I verbally talked to a person verbally submitting my claim. Does that hold? I was given no instructions to do anything further.
