Anti WEF Lawsuit To Go For Settlement
New York City attorneys have decided to go for a settlement of the anti-WEF protests lawsuit. The lawsuit was filed by the 215 demonstrator arrested at the World Economic Forum meeting in New York City back in 2002. The class action lawsuit charged that the NYPD (New York Police Department) had attempted to show the world it was in control by illegally arresting and detaining them.
Now the lawsuit is going for settlement. Persons who have not already joined in a lawsuit involving the WEF must file a claim form by August 11th to be eligible to participate in the settlement.
