Castle Death Class Action Lawsuit Nears Settlement
A class action lawsuit that was filed over a bouncy-castle incident that killed Jessica Gorostiaga, 8, and injured several other children
Jessica’s family still has not received any compensation for her death but, in 2004, her mother, Robyn, joined the parents of other children injured in the incident in filing a District Court class action against eight parties.
Those being sued include the castle’s manufacturer, Supa-Bounce Pty Ltd, the Kapunda Harness Racing Club and the proprietors and employees of the business which owned the castle.
