Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against Sourcefire, Inc.
A class action lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland on behalf of all persons or entities who purchased the common stock of Sourcefire, Inc. pursuant and/or traceable to the Company’s Registration Statement and Prospectus issued in connection with its March 9, 2007 initial public offering, through April 9, 2007.
No class has yet been certified in the above action. Until a class is certified, you are not represented by counsel unless you retain one. If you purchased Sourcefire common stock pursuant and/or traceable to the Company’s March 9, 2007 initial public offering through April 9, 2007, you have certain rights, and have until July 13, 2007, to move for Lead Plaintiff status.
The Complaint alleges that defendants violated federal securities laws by issuing material misrepresentations to the market concerning the Company’s business and financial performance, thereby artificially inflating the price of Sourcefire securities.
