David Vespremi Filed Class Action Lawsuit Against Tesla Motors
A class action law suit has been filed on Friday by David Vespremi the former employee of the Tesla Motors. This law suit is filed in San Mateo Country Superior Court.
David Vespremi has worked in Tesla Motors from February 2007 to December 2007. He was terminated from the company. Just prior to that he was informed that the only reason for his termination is a portion of his shares in Tesla Motors’ Common Stock that will be vested in February 2008.
The suit he has placed alleges that Tesla did not act in good faith in its dealings with him and did not follow California labor laws. He is also suing for libel and slander because of allegedly disparaging comments made about laid off employees in the press by company executives.
The class that he is seeking to represent includes other former Tesla employees who had the same employment terms.
According to the suit the claims of Vespremi or other participants will not be more than $75,000.
