Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc. in Class Action Lawsuit
A class action lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana on behalf of investors who purchased the securities of Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc. between November 1, 2006 and January 10, 2007, alleges that Hornbeck and certain of its officers and directors violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
The complaint alleges that during the Class Period, the Company issued positive statements regarding its financial results and business prospects which it attributed to its new generation and proprietary vessels, increased demand for traditional and non-traditional uses of the vessels, and a diversified business model.
