KPMG In Class Action Lawsuit For Overtime Pay
Another class action lawsuit has been filed in Ontario Superior Court of Justice against the Canadian division of international firm KPMG seeking compensation for employees of the auditing firm who have worked overtime without adequate pay.
The class includes all employees of KPMG such as lawyers, non-accountant staff and others who worked more than 44 hours in a week, didn’t receive overtime pay and are not exempt under applicable regulation. Remedies are sought for breach of the Employment Standards Act and breach of contract.
