Lawsuit Seeking Class Action Status Filed Against Telik, Inc.

A lawsuit seeking class action status has been filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, on behalf of all persons who purchased the common stock of Telik, Inc. between March 27, 2003 and June 4, 2007.

The Complaint alleges that Telik, and certain of its officers, directors and underwriters violated Federal Securities laws by making false statements concerning FDA approval of TELCYTA, Telik’s lead product candidate in the treatment of platinum-resistant or refractory ovarian cancer and small-cell lung cancer.

If you are a member of the class, you may, no later than August 6, 2007, request that the Court appoint you as lead plaintiff of the class. A lead plaintiff is a class member that acts on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation.
