Merck Again In Canadian Class Action Lawsuit Over Osteoporosis Drug Fosamax
A class action lawsuit has been filed in Canada against Merck Frosst Canada regarding its osteoporosis
drug Fosamax.
The lawsuit alleges that Merck failed to adequately warn patients and physicians that Fosamax has been associated with an increased risk of developing Osteonecrosis of the jaw, also known as “jaw death” which can be extremely painful and can cause jaw bones to rot and die.
