Pennsylvania Based Franchisee Files Class Action Lawsuit Against Colorado Based Quiznos
Quiznos franchise owners of Pennsylvania files a class action law suit against the Colorado based sandwich chain saying that it promotes ” grossly inflated” company profits at their expense.
Quiznos has about 5,000 U.S. stores and 130 in Pennsylvania.
The lawsuit is filed in Pittsburgh federal court. On listening this news the company’s general counsel says that federal lawsuit filed in Pittsburgh is a copycat action of one of the recent cases which was dismissed by the federal judge in Illinois.
The complaint says that the area is over saturated with Quiznos restaurants and also forces the franchise owners to deal with suppliers connected to Quiznos, who charge high prices and cause the stores to lose money.
