A class action lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court on behalf of purchasers of Tier Technologies Inc. (TIER.PK) common stock during the period from November 29, 2001 through and including October 25, 2006.

The complaint charges that Tier has violated Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by issuing materially false and misleading financial statements filed with the SEC during the Class Period by overstating Company earnings and underreporting Company losses.
