Ellicott City, has witnessed two multimillion-dollar class action lawsuits settlement that will cover either 100 percent or 10 percent of the replacement work. While some leaks might be no big deal, others might require a full replacement of all the pipes in your home.

Pennsylvania Superior Court has ordered the retail giant Wal-Mart to pay $185 million as part of the class action settlement with its employees. The lawsuit was filed by the employees of the company that alleged the company of underpayment.

The Behr Dayton Thermal Plant is likely to face a class action lawsuit at the Court of Common Pleas, Montgomery County, in Tuesday. The lawsuit has ben filed by all the residents of the living near the plant.

The federal court has ordered the American Hard rock band Great White to pay $1 million to settle the lawsuit filed by the victims of a Rhode Island nightclub fire ignited by their concert’s fireworks in 2003. The court also pleaded the band manager to 100 counts of involuntary manslaughter in 2006.

The Chicago based singer and performer Ne-Yo is likely to receive nearly a million dollar as a part of the lawsuit settlement from the concert promoter company Rowe Entertainment Inc. The Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Malcolm Mackey ordered the company to pay Ne-Yo last week.
