Customer files class action against Bell Canada for too high administration fee

L’Union des consommateurs, an Quebec group along with the Bell Canada customer Myrna Raphael, filed a class action lawsuit against the Bell Canada over the company’s internet access policy. The company has allegedly broken the three year ADSL contract with Raphael in 2006.

The Quebec customers filed a class action lawsuit against Bell Canada on charges of Internet hijacking at the Quebec Superior Court last week. The fraud victims say that without their knowledge, or consent, their computers downloaded a hidden program which caused their computers to place expensive, long distance phone calls.
