Bloomberg announced to change New York city’s term-limits law

Two-term mayor of New York city, Michael Bloomberg recently announces about the overturn of the city’s term-limits law and also his run for another four years in office from next year.

A person who has been briefed by the mayor tells “The Associated Press” that Bloomberg will announce about his intentions on Thursday. He also says that mayor has long supported the term-limits law, but now he has given a hint regarding his willingness to overturn the law in the recent months.

Moreover he says that after seeing a serious economic blow that the city was going through for couple of months, (because of the Wall Street crisis), Bloomberg wanted to take this step. He is still wrestling with this decision and will made up his mind over the weekend.
