CA lodged a lawsuit against Rocket for $200 million inUS District Court in Central Islip, N.Y., on Long Island.
CA claimed that some of its employees working in its acquired firm Platinum Technology were later hired by Rocket. These programmers and software developers disclosed all source codes and secret trade secrets of the former employer to the later one.
As part of the settlement Rocket agreed to license technology from CA including the source code and related trade secrets that were part of the litigation. The settlement amount was not publicized, however.
