Family demands settlement to Big Dig for death of accident victim

The family of Milena Del Valle who died in the Big Dig tunnel ceiling collapse, demands a settlement worth $28 million. The family of the Boston based Thirty-9-year-old thinks the settlement will help to avoid similar accidents in future.

Del Valle’s three adult children said in a statement they have honored their mother’s life and memory “by seeking the truth.”

The main lawsuit defendants included Bechtel/Parsons Brinckerhoff, Modern Continental Co., Gannett Fleming Inc. and the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority.
