MUMBAI - A city court Monday pronounced three people, including a husband-wife duo, guilty of the twin blasts in this city Aug 25, 2003 that killed 54 people.
“Special Judge M.R. Puranik has kept the sentencing of the guilty for Aug 4,” Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam told reporters.
“We shall seek the most stringent punishment in this case. The convicts are all activists of the Lashkar-e-Taiba. They have been found guilty under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code that attracts life term or death penalty,” he said.
